This is a must do walking tour in Medellin . Believe me, Communa 13 is all about people with amazing resilience and you have to visit it.
This was the best tour I've ever done. Alexander was such a great guide, and hearing his firsthand experience of living in communa 13 was incredibly powerful. Not only is the tour full of beautiful views and entertainment, you will learn so much and go beyond just the touristy areas. Alex also gave us great recommendations for other parts of the city, and where we should/shouldn't go. Visiting communa 13 without doing this tour would've been a huge mistake, I can't recommend it enough.
