We were very disappointed that our tour was cancelled less than an hour before the start time. I didn’t see the message in time that the tour was cancelled and we had a wasted journey to the meeting point.
Donat was full of hatred against Soviets that he refrained to credit the Red Army as liberators. Luckily he was too ashamed to take a step further and admit that he was almost happy about Hungary’s alliance with the Nazis. He also hated Ottomans and looked at my face each time he mentions, since I am from Turkey. I even said, “man, I didn’t do anything!” I could not finish the tour, ruined my afternoon.
