Fenomenal & Outstanding! This tour is a MUST to understand and go in depth about Finland's history, troubles, leading figures, politics, ideals, art, architecture, social policies, recent history... all the while strolling around beautiful and less beaten corners, parks and cemeteries. Be the tourist that goes further than the old town, that wants to learn more and understand the why and the who. Do the classic old town tour, then give yourself the time (we added the coffee break and were quite chatty so ~2:50h) to learn more with the great insightful John.
Great tour that gives you the bearings to Helsinki and Finland's history, culture, language, values. It makes you excited and ready to explore this little corner of the world. Thanks Matti :-)
Great Art Nouveau tour with Caspars :-) Really informative, we learnt how this philosophy came to be, how to differentiate the various declinations all the while strolling around beautiful Riga. Great info given in a fun entertaining manner. I could have easily added another hour, to be able to visit more buildings.
Wow! Absolutely amazing tour that should be on everyone's program! I was initially a little hesitant as I generally enjoy longer tours (3-4h), with a lot of facts, dates and history, and the fact that to join this tour I was going to have to cut the previous tour a little shorter. But I chose to go on with my initial plan and I am soo happy I did. While in the morning I Iearnt about Tallinn & Estonia's history, upper old town in a fun way, this tour added colour, context and helped me imagine what medieval Reval looked like. To the sketches, measurements and plan, I was given colour, depth, noise and smell. Enjoying theatrical performances, vibrant presentations, jokes and watching tourists participation, this was top. I wouldnt mind adding to the tour an extra hour or two :-)
Very good tour full with information about Gdanks. It was a nice and fun way to learn about the city, it's history and present.
