It’s definitely a tour worth joining. It was a very pleasant walk—slightly challenging at times, as the area around Buda Castle is quite hilly—but set in beautiful spring scenery. Our tour guide, Balázs, is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Highly recommended.
Very informative although the walk could have started at the top of the hill as the walk up the steps was quite tiring and served no particular purpose in relation to the subject for the tour

Ive been using guruwalks and free tours for about 5 years now and i would say that our Buda castle guide Astor is one of the best! She was so knowledgeable and entertaining and she kept everyone engaged with her q&as, fun facts and witty remarks! She also answered our questions and curiosities which really helped me understand and gain a new perspective on the country especially from a local. We were quite lucky as our group was so open minded and it gave us an avenue to learn, gain new perspectives and ofcourse enjoy the beauty of Budapest. I also want to emphasize how much I appreciate the 6-8 mins photo time slot in every site as it allowed us to savor the moment and capcture memories, have a convo rather than rushing from one spot to another.
