I highly recommend this tour if you’re unsure which one to choose. Our guide was Chiara—a lifelong Florentine who was even baptised in the Baptistery beside the Cathedral! She spoke clear, easy-to-understand English and introduced us to the city through the eyes of a true local. Although Florence was crowded, she stayed enthusiastic and led us to the most important sights. Only one small correction: inside Palazzo Medici Riccardi there isn’t a painting by Sandro Botticelli; the work you’ll see is “Madonna and Child” by Filippo Lippi.
