Although there was some improvement in the second half of the tour, we were disappointed with the first half. The talk lacked a ‘context’ and our guide started off with listing facts about a church we happened to be in front of - without telling us why we should care about the church and how it fitted into the broader narrative of the tour. This lack of context and common narrative remained a problem during the first half. Apart from this there was a lack of connection with the group - the headphones we needed to use of course didn’t help with this and the guide cannot help this, but the she also didn’t make a lot of effort to overcome this. In sum, our guide clearly liked Florence and its history, but could work on her delivery.
Monica este pasioanta de ceea ce face si explica intr-un mod amuzant, chiar si cele mai teribile parți ale istoriei Florentine. Recomand acest tur, chiar din prima seara petrecuta pe strazile Florentei.
