I gained a greater understanding of the places we visited. The tour lacked “fun” because it was too small. This is no fault of the guide. He was knowledgeable, passionate and he tried his best.

We had a delightful time at a market, enjoying a variety of fruits and engaging in a fun guessing game, which took a bit longer than expected. Our visit to the chocolate shop was equally enjoyable, as we sampled different varieties. We wrapped up our experience with a lovely coffee tasting. I believe the tour could have included more information about other highlights, such as a visit to Monserrate or the Fernando Botero Museum. A little more context about Bogotá would have added to our understanding and appreciation of the city. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
Legacy’s walking tour was rich in information, perhaps a bit too extensive at times. As an educator, I appreciate in-depth details, but there’s such a thing as too much. A more concise delivery would engage guests more effectively, sparking their curiosity to learn beyond the tour. Moreover, the element of surprise can be incredibly impactful. Presenting historical sights with intriguing facts and captivating hooks would enhance the experience. Overall, the tour was enjoyable, but with some modifications, it could be truly outstanding.
