Good overview of the historical center & Danish culture in an irreverent (and therefore more interesting) manner. Magnus is an experienced guide & handled our surprisingly large group well. Received suggestions on what to do/ not to do during my time in the city.
This tour helps to show some parts of Istanbul that not many tourists see - a large park popular with local folks as well as an up-close look at Ortakoy mosque and the bridge nearby. I tried the kumpir (baked potato), and Elif gave me suggestions for to visit for the remainder of my time in the city. Nice way to spend an afternoon :)
Had an excellent tour with Georgios, who was filling in. We went to many places & markets I might not have found on my own. And learned the background of multiple dishes. Fun, well-paced morning & better than I expected! :)
