Josipa was very pleasant and provided clear historical information about Hvar and the surrounding area. There was a nice balance detailing remote and more recent history. She directed us to the should-not-miss sites to visit during our stay. The pace was very easy to follow. I wish the tour would have lasted longer, with more details about the life in Hvar, and maybe some fun facts.

Where do I start… Wow what an amazing walking tour with Dale! We ended up having a private evening walk around Hvar town with Dale - we very much appreciated the tour was not cancelled as it was just my husband and myself. Dale is a lovely person, passionate about Hvar and very informative about the history to present day living. He pointed out a lot of interesting facts that we would not have realised on our own. It was like walking around Hvar and having a chat with a friend. He seems to know everyone in Hvar as well and he was constantly being greeted by other locals. He even walked into busy restaurants and shops to show us how the old town wall is now integrated into the present buildings. It was definitely one of our most enjoyable walking tours. We had dinner at one of the restaurants that Dale took us to show us the old wall and mentioned his name and was treated like a VIP 😀. I highly recommend this tour. One of my highlights of visiting Hvar!

Josipa was an excellent guide showing us around Hvar city. She pointed out so many places of interest and was very knowledgeable. Answered all questions in depth, and made the tour relevant and informative without being boring. Would highly recommend this walking tour. We had one person in a wheelchair, who was able to do majority of this walk. There was just a small bit that had stairs up and back down again. It was so amazing that we could be included in the tour.

Dale was a wonderful tour guide on our day trip to Hvar!! He was very friendly, easy-going and very very knowledgeable about Hvar. Dale showed us all the main spots, saying hello to locals along the way. His knowledge of the history of the island was remarkable. Dale was very kind and told us a lot of interesting details. It was cool to see him interact with a local at least every 5mins. In the beginning he focused on a lot of theoretical history which could have been shortened a bit, but once we moved, it was a great experience, thanks a lot for the great tour!!!

We had a very nice tour with Dale! He is a passionate Hvar citizen who knows a lot of history and seems to know everyone in the town! hehehe He is a easy going person, who likes to talk and didn't look at the clock while guiding us. We felt like he were visiting a friend. He even helped my dad to buy a medicine in the pharmacy. It was a very nice tour and we would definetaly recomend it!

We take walking tours in nearly every city we visit and this tour was the BEST!! Dale was such a pleasant tour guide, who gave us so much wonderful information, even taking us inside of restaurants and shops to show us the history he was telling. He is a Hvar local and the love he has for the island shows - we definitely appreciated Hvar a lot more after seeing him (we would come back and take a tour with him again if we could). If you want a funny, informative, and overall pleasant experience do not hesitate to book this tour; I cannot recommend it enough!!! 👏👏👏👏
