Donat was fantastic! I really enjoyed the walking tour with him through Metro stations, Chorsu Bazaar and the older part of the Old City. We even got to visit the courtyards of private homes because Donat knew the families. I’d definitely recommend this tour with Donat!

I thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour! It was engaging throughout, with a wonderful mix of historical information, cultural context, and hands-on experiences. We got to taste several delicious traditional foods and even participate in a bread-making demonstration, which was a lovely touch!
Donat was an excellent guide: knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. He came prepared with wipes and utensils for all the food tastings, which I really appreciated. I also loved how he would stop along the way to greet people he knew (which felt like the whole city). It made the whole experience feel less like a formal guided tour and more like exploring the city with friends. There was something very intimate, genuine, and wholesome about it and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I took this tour on the very last day of my trip, and it was the perfect way to wrap things up, connect the dots, and put everything I had seen into perspective. That said, I think it would be equally wonderful at the beginning of a visit, as it provides such a great introduction to the city's history, culture, and everyday life.
Highly recommend!
