Die Tour beginnt am Taksim-Platz und endet am Galataturm. Auf dieser Tour werden wir gemeinsam die wichtigsten Orte auf der Istiklal-Straße besuchen. Ich werde Sie nicht mit historischen Informationen überfluten, aber wir werden dennoch über die Vergangenheit und Gegenwart der Straße sprechen. Ich werde Ihnen versteckte Juwelen zeigen, Orte, an denen Einheimische sich aufhalten, und am wichtigsten, wir werden über türkisches Essen sprechen. Nach dieser Tour werden Sie viel mehr über Istanbul und Taksim wissen.

We did the Taksim and Galata walking tour with Muhammed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was incredibly friendly, approachable and passionate about his work.
There were only four of us on the tour that day, and Muhammed made sure everyone felt comfortable asking questions. The tour was supposed to last around 2 hours and 15 minutes, but it ended up lasting almost 3 hours because we were all so interested and curious. Muhammed never rushed us or showed any sign of inconvenience about staying longer. On the contrary, it was clear that he genuinely enjoys his job and loves sharing his knowledge about Istanbul.
What we particularly appreciated was that he was happy to answer absolutely any question we had, not just about the places we were visiting or the history of the area, but also about local food, restaurants, traditional Turkish cuisine, and other neighbourhoods and places worth visiting around the city. His recommendations and willingness to help made the experience even more valuable.
It’s not always easy to find a guide who is so dedicated, patient and genuinely interested in making sure you have a great experience.

Muhammed was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable, we had a nice 2-hour tour with him around Taksim and Galata tower area. It was a pleasure listening to him and having a conversation.
