Vidya was very enthusiastic, he kept the energy going despite the extreme heat and it was interesting to discover Varanasi from a true local. He kindly invited us into his home for chai and it was a great experience to meet his family and see his home.

Muy buena experiencia con Niwas!! Badal no podía dar el free tour por una operación e hicimos el recorrido con su compañero Niwas.
Completamente recomendable, explicaciones extensas y amenas, recorriendo muchas callejuelas del centro de Varanasi. Al final del recorrido nos ofreció ir a su casa, donde nos preparó un té.
En general, Niwas, un muy buen guía con el que nos entendimos perfectamente en inglés.

My dad and I took a tour with Anant Ji on our first day in Varanasi. It was a great way to explore the spirit of the city and most important places. Our guide took great care of our time and made us try the best treats like samosa, lassi and sweets. The walk was quite long but not tiring. Overall, we really recommend walking tours with Anant.

Unfortunately Badal wasn’t able to take us on the tour but he organised Niwas to show us around and checked in to make sure everything was going ok. Niwas was brilliant. His enthusiasm for Varanasi was infections and his hospitality was second to none. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to see some hidden gems in Varanasi
