Purple Basque Tours es el nombre que le puse a mis tours alternativos desde que llegué a Bilbao y me enamoré de la ciudad y, especialmente, del Museo Guggenheim. Me llamo Sanna Weaver, no soy de Bilbao, pero soy una auténtica bilbaína, algo que experimentarás en mis tours, que son muy alternativos, originales, morados (el color favorito de la gente sensible y de espíritu libre) y muy divertidos. Debido a mi amor por Bilbao, intento que los tours sean para un máximo de 8 personas, ¡para que te diviertas y disfrutes al máximo! Por eso, ofrecer tours a personas de todo el mundo dispuestas a explorar la ciudad de una forma no turística es mi pasión. Sanna haben wir direkt am Treffpunkt erkannt. Mit ihrer lila Baskenmütze war sie wirklich nicht zu übersehen. Unerwartet hatten wir an diesem Tag sogar das Glück, eine private Führung zu bekommen. Sanna hat sich rund 2,5 Stunden Zeit genommen und uns sehr engagiert durch Bilbao geführt. Dabei ist sie immer wieder auf unsere Fragen und Interessen eingegangen und hat die Tour flexibel an unsere Wünsche angepasst. Besonders schön fand ich, dass sie nicht einfach nur Fakten heruntererzählt hat, sondern auch viele Geschichten über die Stadt, das Leben in Bilbao und die Kultur im Baskenland eingebracht hat. Dadurch wurde die Tour sehr lebendig und auch für unseren Sohn interessant. Wir haben Orte gesehen, an denen wir alleine wahrscheinlich einfach vorbeigelaufen wären. Gleichzeitig hat sie uns viele Tipps gegeben, was man in Bilbao noch entdecken kann. Fazit: Eine sehr persönliche, sympathische und informative Stadtführung. Wer Bilbao besucht, ist bei Sanna definitiv in guten Händen.

Sanna did amazing! She showed us the modern part of the City while explaining everything about the transformation that Bilbao has gone through over the years. She showed passion and love for Bilbao and the Basque Country. She also welcomed questions and was very knowledgeable about the history of the City and Spain. Couldn’t recommend enough!
