Robert made the walk through the city fun and informative. It was truly a master crash course in history. Also enlightening about the current challenges that Hungry faces. There were also pop-up quizzes and Hungarian gifts that he gave away to keep the tour engaging.
Very articulate, knowledgeable, entertaining and considerate guide. Highly recommended, I learnt a lit of history and the narrative stories were informative and entertaining.
This was hands down the best tour I’ve ever been on! Robert was absolutely fantastic – not only was the tour incredibly informative, but it also felt so personal and relaxed. I loved that it wasn’t rushed at all; we had plenty of time to take everything in and enjoy the experience without feeling like we were being herded from one place to the next. What made this tour truly special were the personal touches Robert added. He shared stories from his own family and life in Budapest, which gave the tour a much deeper and more authentic feel. On top of that, he had fascinating facts about every site we visited – things you wouldn’t find in a guidebook. To top it off, Robert gave us an amazing list of recommendations for places to eat, drink, and explore on our own. If you’re visiting Budapest and want an insightful, engaging, and memorable experience, I couldn’t recommend Robert more highly.
