Robert was a wonderfully passionate and knowledgable tour guide of his beautiful city of Budapest. He was funny and taught us so much about this history of the city that I don’t think I ever would have found out otherwise. His personal stories of his family were the most special part. Usually, I am prepared and excited to walk much more on such walking tours but it worked out perfectly that due to an injury, I was having trouble walking so today’s ~2k walk was much more doable and I was more invested in learning about the history and art. It takes a special guide to spend over 3 hours talking in depth and with so much insight and I am very glad I was able to join his tour. An experience that cannot be replicated, I would highly recommend a tour of Budapest with Robert. Thank you for a wonderful day!
This is must do before you start exploring Budapest. Robert is such a knowledgeable & entertaining guy. Kept the entire group engaged with facts, some real life stories..3.5 hours flew by..Definitely one of the best walking tours i have been part of across Europe..
My sister and I had the best time exploring Budapest with Robert. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and the way he brings the city’s history and culture to life makes every stop feel meaningful. We finished the tour feeling like we truly understood Budapest, not just like we took photos of it. He’s also warm, engaging, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. A little advice for anyone visiting in November: Budapest is stunning, but it is not the place to test the limits of a thin dress, Ugg boots, or a brave little fake leather jacket. We witnessed that combination in the wild and let’s just say the weather won. Bring a real coat and you’ll enjoy the tour so much more. Thank you Robert for making our day unforgettable. Highly recommended.
Robert was a fantastic guide. We saw some of the major sites and he shared some very interesting stories. I especially appreciated the personal stories of his family. He was fun, creative, and very thoughtful! He even brought hot tea and candies for us. Definitely take this tour, you won’t be dissapinted!
We truly enjoyed our tour of Budapest with our guide, Robert. He shared so many fascinating stories and insights, making the walk both fun and memorable. The route was beautiful, and we really appreciated the thoughtful list of recommendations he gave us at the end. Do keep in mind that the tour lasts almost four hours, so be prepared for a longer walk. Also, Robert speaks quite quickly, so if your English is not very strong, you might find some parts a bit challenging to follow. All in all, we definitely recommend joining this tour—it was a great experience!
