I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. Robert has an encyclopaedic memory and crams in alot of fascinating information during his 3.5 hour tour. He is very entertaining, well prepared and manages the group well. He speaks very quickly so this tour is for people who can follow his fast pace. The tour gave us a solid grounding on the history of Budapest to enable us to go off and explore further.
