I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. If you join me, I will not only show you the most beautiful and important sights of the capital city but also share some of the best stories it has with you.

A very enjoyable tour! Robert was witty while maintaining a highly informative and nuanced commentary. I didn’t feel that the route was taxing either (despite us having done leg day at the gym two days prior), so I would not be daunted by the 3.5 hour length of the tour. We also really appreciated the list of recommendations that the guide gave us at the end of the tour. Thank you Robert!
Great tour. Smaller group. Very enthusiastic and animated guide who made efforts to make it fun and filled with info/history. Lots of recommendations at the end given (he sent us a list). Highly recommended.
Robert was very informative, and passionate about the history of Hungary and the city of Budapest. Shared his own personal family experiences. He had a great a great sense of humour and made the group feel inclusive! I highly recommend his tour!
