I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. Very overloaded with a lot of history.Avoid if you are not keen on a lecture about Hungary.History enthusiasts might enjoy but if you need to cover a lot of Pest, you will be disappointed. Robert covers rather few stops and talk a lot on insignificant stuff at times i.e US movie stars.I saw the long walk and thought both Buda and Pest will be covered but Robert didn't even do Pest any justice.I however now realised as I have been to Budapest that it is not possible to cover both sides.
