I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. If you join me, I will not only show you the most beautiful and important sights of the capital city but also share some of the best stories it has with you.
My tour today with Robert was excellent. He is a total professional who knows his history, culture, architecture of Hungary and its capital, Budapest. He interacts with his group in a very engaging way and takes the trouble to answer questions enthusiastically. He is also very witty and keen to put everyone at their ease with his humorous use of quirky questions with prizes for the right answers. This tour is for people interested in history and he certainly brings it to life from BC to the present day. His personal recollection of earlier generation family experiences in the Second World War was very touching. I would not hesitate recommending this tour to people who are interested in the fascinating history of Hungary and Budapest..

Really sweet, knowledgeable and caring guide. He took the time to explain multiple facts (history, art, film… etc). The tour was interactive and engaging. He brought tea and he had prepare a “knowledge game”. It was fun and we learned a lot. Thanks so much!!!
