I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. It was great to know about the history of Budapest and Hungary and Robert is very passionate about his city and speaking about it . Times flew by!
I chose this tour as it was 3hrs rather than the 2hrs most were as I expected to get to see more places or be told more. I was not disappointed. Robert was an exceptional guide, spoke very good English, great knowledge, humorous and ensured the group got the most from the tour. I would recommend him to anyone else wanting to be guided around Budapest
