I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. If you join me, I will not only show you the most beautiful and important sights of the capital city but also share some of the best stories it has with you.
If you visit Budapest, don’t miss it. it’s very informative and offers insight into many different aspects.
Robert's tour was very engaging and entertaining, despite a larger than expected group and changing weather. He also provided various recommendations for things to do, restaurants (we tried two so far, very good). Definitely recommend!
Great tour. Longer than the other free tours, but entertaining and informative throughout. The group ended up being a big large, but I was still able to hear and enjoy myself. Learned about Budapest/Hungary as a whole, but the family stories he shared made the tour more personable.
Robert was as informative knowledge and entertaining as we could have asked for. And he was very helpful in giving us his tips of where to go after the tour too. We loved it
He was one perfect tour guide. Very knowledgeable and entertaining!! Definitely a must!!
