I was born in Budapest. Besides being a tour guide, I am a writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter. For me, stories represent the world and thus human understanding within it. That's why I am in love with Budapest, where the infinitely diverse facades, the musty walls of the historic castle district, and the spaces of modern communal areas tell mysterious and adventurous stories, just like the cobblestones beneath our feet, the facades above our heads, or the hidden pubs with their regular patrons. Robert was excellent! Better than I expected and the personal family stories further gave it a bit oomph! Great historical narrative, good jokes and trivia! Definitely 5 stars and the best walking tour I’ve ever done and I’ve done plenty!
Robert is a very knowledgeable and fun guy.Would recommend his tour to anyone wanting to get a good insight into historic but also current and cultural aspects of Budapest and Hungary.

It was impressing how many historical information gave as in a really intriguing way. The only issue was that he spoke too fast for our children that after a while get bored. Other than that the whole experience is highly recommended
Robert clearly loves the city and its culture, it reflects on the tour. Almost four hours passed without any boredom. Tour also is quite informative grounded compared to other mainstream tours. This is one of the best walking tours I have joined 100% recommend
