Robert is engaging, informative and ensures the historical information is interesting. Robert’s knowledge of movies and music is excellent and he shared interesting stories of how film and music has positively impacted Budapest. Highly recommend this walking tour.
Robert was so so so fantastic. I have had some really good walking tour guides in the past and ones that were just ok, and Robert definitely ranks among the best for me. Very entertaining, knowledgeable, interactive, funny, passionate and charismatic. I only had 2 days in Budapest and I felt like I could have gotten lost in the city or stuck in the more touristy places, but Robert takes you on not only a journey through the city, but through the history of Hungary itself in a way that doesn’t feel rushed, boring, or overwhelming. You can tell he loves his city and his role as a tour guide, it’s a 3.5hr tour but it is such a fun and interesting way to spend the day. Plus it’s awesome getting a whole range of recommendations from a local. Also very professional, bringing water and tea for people (and sweets for answering his questions). Robert was fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to make the most out of their time in Budapest, no matter how long they are staying.
