Hi we have read your opinion very carefully and we learnt that you didn’t like the tour and we can understand you and your vision but base on a big misunderstanding:1our knowledgeable guide guided you in the best highlights of Lucca . He made the route and way of all other guides: he tried to bring you into the ducal palace of Lucca where nobody usually goes and the police didn’t let you enter with group because the chief of the police was in his office ( for security reasons ) 2 You didn’t see the amphitheater a great highlight but without any mysteries and enigmas 3 He showed you and the whole group the most amazing and important attraction of Lucca which means “ The holy face of Christ) visited every by thousands of people .4 At the end you could admire the imposing ramparts of the city explained with so many anecdotes and very involving stories 5 You could admire the house where Giacomo Puccini was born and his fantastic statue 6 The theatre where the last opera by Puccini was performed and staged 6 He explained clearly why no Renaissance artist was not in Lucca , in eternal war with the family Medici. who had the monopoly of all artists( including Siena Pisa Florence and other cities. Lucca is a special city different from the other ones, different art and different architecture but with its fascination which still enchants the visitors in the present age.
