Sunny is a great guide, who gives the right amount of insight about each destination on the tour. Its a worthwhile 2 hours, exploring some of the well known and not so well known attractions of downtown Can Tho. Excellent.
First of all, do not be discouraged by the warning about the tour guide cancelling the tour. Sunny will show up for you if you are keen to explore Can Tho and see a side of the city only few people get the privilege to see. Sunny is incredibly knowledgeable, he deeply loves his city and you are guaranteed to get a locals best impression of the hidden corners. You'll see the temples at the right times, get recommendations of the local night markets, and see the life of locals through the eyes of someone who really enjoys sharing his city with you. Sunny is also very eloquent and a great storyteller, we'd recommend his tour anytime!
Absolutely unforgettable experience! We had the pleasure of touring the Mekong Delta with Sunny as our guide, and she was the highlight of the trip. From the lively floating market to the peaceful private canals, every stop was thoughtfully planned and full of charm. We explored a lush fruit garden, learned about unique tropical fruits, and even got hands-on with cooking local dishes—delicious and fun! What truly made the day special was Sunny herself: incredibly knowledgeable, full of energy, and unapologetically sassy in the best way. Her humor, warmth, and passion for the region made everything come alive. Ending the day by visiting the boats of local families trading produce gave us a heartfelt glimpse into real life on the Mekong. If you're in Can Tho, do yourself a favor—book with Sunny. Sunny ist wirklich sehr lieb und konnte uns eine Menge über Can Tho erzählen. Er spricht hervorragendes Englisch. Die besuchten Orte waren gut ausgewählt, wir haben eine Menge gelernt und dank Sunny gute Food-Spots gefunden. Besonders das Krankenhaus hat uns überrascht und begeistert.
