I loved how creative this tour was. It was almost as a History lecture of Portugal from the point of view of its food and how the dishes evolved over the centuries. It set the bar high for food tours!

I had such a great time on this food walking tour in Barra da Tijuca! Our guide, Eduardo, was super friendly and made the whole experience feel easy and fun. He clearly knows the area really well and took us to spots I never would’ve found on my own. The food was amazing. We got to try a bunch of different things some classics, some totally new to me and everything tasted amazing. It felt like hanging out with a local friend who just knows all the best places. Eduardo kept the vibe relaxed, answered all our questions, and shared cool little stories about the neighborhood. By the end of the tour, it felt like we’d explored Barra in the most enjoyable and delicious way possible. If you’re in Rio and want to eat great food while walking around a beautiful area with a fun guide, definitely go for this tour. Totally worth it!
Really recommended if you are new in Brazil and want to try local food! We ate a lot and very delicious dishes, also Eduardo is very funny and ready to explain everything :)
