I really enjoyed this tour. I moved to Lisbon last year, and I wanted to look at the city I now live in with new eyes. This tour helped me rediscover Portuguese food. Out of the 12 dishes we tried, there were some I had never tasted before and others I already knew, but I genuinely enjoyed all of them. It was also great to learn where they came from and the stories behind them. This was my second tour with Eduardo, and one of the reasons I came back is that he's excellent at historical context. He has a way of telling stories that makes everything more interesting and memorable without ever feeling like a lecture. The atmosphere and people were great - it ended up being not just a food tour, but also a really nice bonding experience. I'd definitely recommend this tour both to tourists and to people who already live in Lisbon.
This food tour is a must-do in Lisboa. We had the opportunity to eat a large selection of typical portuguese dishes for about 28€ p. person. Eduardo was a' amazing guide and explained us through the dishes the history of Portugal. Would definitely recommand !
One of the best free food tours I have been across many I have done. Excellent selection of restaurants and explanation about the food origin. Must go to tour in Lisbon
Eduardo knows a lot about the history of every place we went and mixed up history with every plate we ate. You will not find these places on instagram.
Eduardo is really knowledgeable, knew how to answer all of the people’s questions and is a very fun guide.
