Eduardo is a local born a few 100 meters from the pick-up point. His historical knowledge is excellent and because he is a local he manages to pull you into the history and origin of Rio, specifically the area lf Jardim Oceânico. The local food was great and the atmosphere on the island ilha da jibola is amazing.
Eduardo was full of facts and knowledge. I could talk to Eduardo for hours. He was so helpful and fun.
This was one of the best tours I've ever been on. So laid back and entertaining, we all even went for a Capirinha together afterwards. I loved the restaurants we went to and the island we visited at the end. Eduardo introduced us to many aspects of Brazilian culture that I wouldn't have seen otherwise. An experience of a lifetime wouldn't be an understatement.

Very in-depth and and super local experience! Eduardo is very knowledgable as he grew up in this region and told us so much about the history of Rio, Barra region and Rio's food history. The choice of restaurants are also very nice, that made us understand the society and cultural changes from 1500s until today. If you are a foodie and cultural fans I highly recommend this tour!
