Eduardo - Tour Guide in Lisbon

I am a Ph.D. title candidate in Anthropology who has been to around 75 countries. I am passionate about meeting people from different countries and backgrounds. I am also an experienced tour guide who has done over 1,000 tours in Portugal, some 300 in Brazil as well as another 300 in Thailand (the country which was the subject of my doctoral thesis).

While I am skilled in History, I also have a strong bohemian part of my personality, thus I enjoy showing my clients the best bars and restaurant to attend in the city.

In my tours, I prize that the clients will get both a general knowledge of the History of Lisbon or the cuisine of Rio and local tips on how to enjoy their time in the city.

Eduardo's tour is really informative and knowledgeable. he has a passion and interests in anthropology which makes him so well known about the History of Portugal. Also, the way he presents is very fun !! More people should know about that!!

Eduardo had an increase knowledge of Portuguese History. This tour feel like a lecture at in an University, but a fun and open one. I strongly suggest this true to anyone interested into Portuguese History in a deeper level

I really enjoyed this tour. I moved to Lisbon last year, and I wanted to look at the city I now live in with new eyes. This tour helped me rediscover Portuguese food. Out of the 12 dishes we tried, there were some I had never tasted before and others I already knew, but I genuinely enjoyed all of them. It was also great to learn where they came from and the stories behind them. This was my second tour with Eduardo, and one of the reasons I came back is that he's excellent at historical context. He has a way of telling stories that makes everything more interesting and memorable without ever feeling like a lecture. The atmosphere and people were great - it ended up being not just a food tour, but also a really nice bonding experience. I'd definitely recommend this tour both to tourists and to people who already live in Lisbon.
