I am a Ph.D. title candidate in Anthropology who has been to around 75 countries. I am passionate about meeting people from different countries and backgrounds. I am also an experienced tour guide who has done over 900 tours in Portugal and about 300 in Thailand (the country which was the subject of my doctoral thesis).
While I am skilled in History, I also have a strong bohemian part of my personality, thus I enjoy showing my clients the best bars and restaurant to attend in the city.
In my tours, I prize that the clients will get both a general knowledge of the History of Lisbon and local tips on how to enjoy their time in the city.
We really enjoyed the experience. Eduardo showed us a variety of dishes we wouldn´t think ordering by ourselves. Barra is a trendy, but residential off-the-beaten track neighborhood, so it felt authentic and really safe to walk during the night time. The islands and the ferry to get there (it is a very quick, but fun boat ride) also added a plus to the tour. Overall, a great night out!
Really good experience. I suggest for people never visited Brasil; it’s a good way to have an idea about the Brazilian food (Don’t eat much for lunch…!) Also the island is quite interesting, definitely I want to come back during the weekend!
Eduardo was an excellent guide, very fun. The time we spent with him was filled with lots of information about the food and history of the places we visited. I'm sure that if anyone is in doubt whether to book this tour or not, I strongly recommend that you book it and have fun!
Eduardo showed us some marvelous dishes! He is a local from Barra and knew everything about the area. I strongly suggest every one to do this tour!
I attended to a few tours in my life, but none of them were like Eduardo's tour. It was the most amazing, fun and informative tour I've ver been to!
