I am a Ph.D. title candidate in Anthropology who has been to around 75 countries. I am passionate about meeting people from different countries and backgrounds. I am also an experienced tour guide who has done over 1,000 tours in Portugal, some 300 in Brazil as well as another 300 in Thailand (the country which was the subject of my doctoral thesis).
While I am skilled in History, I also have a strong bohemian part of my personality, thus I enjoy showing my clients the best bars and restaurant to attend in the city.
In my tours, I prize that the clients will get both a general knowledge of the History of Lisbon or the cuisine of Rio and local tips on how to enjoy their time in the city.
Edouardo was super kind, attentive, well prepared and helpful. The place he showed were unique and I was very happy to take that trip not only to try food but also to see poshy poshy part of Rio.
Eduardo was brilliant, not just knowing where to eat but the knowledge of Brazilian history and how the food fitted into that. We went to places that we’d have never found without him and tried some really interesting dishes. Would highly recommend!
A very nice mix between cuisine and History. A must do tour for Foodie lovers who want to go beyond the beaten track of Portuguese gastronomy. I loved the variety and the pairings coming with it. 5 stars!
