I would like to take a moment to appreciate Mohammad's attitude of continuing with the tour despite us being the only group. He has a rich knowledge of the city, it's history, day-to-day life of people. He even helped me in identifying shops to buy good quality items. Overall, I am very happy to have booked this city tour.
Having done walking tours across the globe, I can confidently say this was one of the best walking tour experiences, thanks to Mohammed. Despite it being just me and my wife on the tour, Mohammed still showed up and took us through the entire experience, effectively turning it into a private tour—which made it even more special. Mohammed is extremely sweet, humble, and knowledgeable. Being born and brought up in Amman, he has an excellent understanding of the city’s history and geography. What truly stood out was his effort to give us not just local insights about Amman, but also broader historical and geographical context about the Middle East as a whole. As we walked through the streets, he explained the significance of the markets and everyday life, making the city feel alive and meaningful. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, especially his local recommendations for restaurants, souvenirs, and hidden spots. What really touched us was how he asked us to stay in touch in case of any emergencies—this truly reflects how warm and kind-hearted he is as a person. If you are visiting Amman, I highly recommend taking this tour. Thank you, Mohammed, for such a memorable experience.
I was the only one who attended. We went upstairs to the roof and in the first 30 minutes I noticed that I will be able to figure out the city in a much better way than being guided by Mohammad‘s boring monologue. I thanked him with a tip and continued my own journey.
