Hola soy Majo, nací y crecí en Villa de leyva lugar en el cual soy guía desde hace unos 5 años.
Siempre me ha gustado conocer gente y lugares por esta razón, he viajado y vivido en países extranjeros como Francia y Nueva Zelanda, experiencias que me permitieron conocer otros puntos de vista e idioma.
Desde hace unos 10 años junto con mi esposo decidimos rescatar la memoria histórica y las anécdotas de mi municipio a través de la narración oral y la actuación.
Hoy en día usamos estos conocimientos para acercar al turista nacional y extranjero a la vida de un villaleyvano.

We had a wonderful tour around Villa de Leyva with David and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its history, and local culture, and he shared everything with genuine passion and kindness. What really made the experience special was how thoughtful he was with my mother-in-law, who doesn’t speak English. David kindly translated for her throughout the tour, making her feel fully included and comfortable, something we truly appreciated. The only small downside for us was the stop at a cocoa shop, which felt a bit like a tourist trap. Although the lady there was very nice and we did buy and try some products, the stop lasted much longer than necessary and became a bit boring. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would absolutely recommend David to anyone visiting Villa de Leyva who wants an informative, friendly, and well-organised tour. I would recommend.
