Sachi was a great guide for the Sensoji temple and Asakusa walking tour. Really appreciated her sharing her views and history with us - it added to the whole experience!
This is a good introductory walk to the east side of the city with basic information provided about Kyoto history and customs. Guide was friendly and a good communicator and shared personal insights. We visited a huge temple, the edge of Gion, walked through some very picturesque streets and parks, ending up in Kiomizudera area, which was unfortunately super busy-just the time of year. For this reason I wish we had visited this area a bit earlier in the day. I imagine though the morning tour time we chose is better for crowds
Enjoyed the tour with Adrian! He was kind enough to wait 7 mins for us at the start of the tour. Loved the quality of info he shared on Geishas and their origin/current story. Sparked a lot of interest in us given we had known nothing at all. However, the tour felt much shorter than quoted on the site. We finished it in 1hr 25 mins so not sure if at had skipped anything. Would have loved to spend more time walking around with the guide.
