Hola queridos amigos! ¡Bienvenidos a la tierra de lagos turquesas y montañas de Tayikistán! Me llamo Ardasher! Nací el 17 de febrero de 1995 en uno de los pueblos más bellos de Ruknobod, que se encuentra en el valle de Zarafshon, en la ciudad de Panjakent. Me gradué de la Universidad Nacional de Tayikistán, y ahora vivo y trabajo en Dushanbe.
He trabajado como guía y proveedor de turismo desde 2013 en todo Tayikistán. Mi experiencia laboral comenzó como guía-intérprete en algunas compañías de viajes. Las razones para elegir esta profesión crecieron en mi corazón, cuando solía estudiar en la escuela. Además, mi lugar de nacimiento, Ruknobod, se encuentra en un lugar donde visitan muchos turistas extranjeros, solía tener una tienda en el centro de la aldea y cuando los turistas me preguntaban sobre recomendaciones, felizmente les mostraba, informaba y ayudaba. La otra razón para elegir esta actividad es mi padre, es profesor de inglés y durante las vacaciones de verano solía trabajar como intérprete para las compañías de viajes. Invitó a muchos turistas extranjeros a nuestra casa, así que solía tratar de hablar en inglés con ellos.
Me gusta por conocer gente nueva de nuevas culturas, tradiciones y diferentes lugares de interés e importancia histórica. También me gusta saber más y más sobre la geografía de todos los países del mundo, especialmente sobre la geografía de mi país, Tayikistán. Hablo tayiko (mi lengua materna), inglés y ruso. Mi objetivo es proporcionar y organizar un servicio único y de la mejor calidad para todos.
Very interesting tour through Tajikistans hisotry and Tahisktian today through a 2 1/2 hour walk through Dushanbe. Ardahser knows what he is doing and gave lots of more ideas what to explore in the city.
Ardasher was great and very kind human. He has excellent knowledge about Dushanbe and Tajikistan and his English is perfect. He love his country- Tajikistan and proud of having like this beautiful country. Ardasher organised city tour for me that I did not feel how the time is finished. It was fantastic. I highly recommend city walking tour of dear brother Ardasher to everyone who interested to city walking tour. Also Ardasher can organise other cheap and budget tours to Iskandarkul Lake and other parts of Tajikistan. I also enjoyed one day tour from Dushanbe to Iskandarkul to Dushanbe. Thanks dear brother. I hope see you soon again in you beautiful city Dushanbe again. Warmly recommend his service.
The guide texted us the night before but then didn't show up. He didn't answer the phone. We waited 15min and then left. Dissapointed.
Very Disappointing Experience – I Don’t Understand the High Rating I honestly don’t understand how this guide has such a high rating on GuruWalk, which I’ve generally found to be a very reliable platform. From the very start, the experience was disappointing. The night before the tour, the guide messaged me—not only to tell me we’d be starting two and a half hours earlier than advertised, but also to try to sell me additional tours and services around the country. The original tour was scheduled for 10:30 AM, but he insisted we meet at 8:00 AM, supposedly because of the heat. However, during the tour he admitted the real reason: he had booked a private tour at 10:30 and could not keep the original schedule. This was unprofessional and misleading. His knowledge of the city, country, culture, and history was extremely limited. One of the main reasons I enjoy walking tours is to learn about the background, context, and stories that make a place come alive. Instead, this tour was simply walking past a few of the main monuments and buildings in the city of Ushambe, with very little explanation. When we asked about cultural or historical topics, he often had no idea, and at times it seemed he didn’t even understand the question. About 30% of the tour was spent inside the National Library, where the guide handed us over to a library employee who gave all the explanations, while he stood aside doing nothing. I usually tip between €20 and €40 for a walking tour, but in this case I initially intended to give the equivalent of only €2 because I felt he was taking advantage of me as a tourist. However, he became insistent—almost demanding—that I give him at least €10. In the end, my travel companion and I gave him a $10 bill just to end the uncomfortable situation. In short, this guide showed zero passion, zero effort, and treated the job as a way to take advantage of tourists in a growing destination. I cannot recommend him, and I believe GuruWalk should reconsider hosting tours from someone with such poor professionalism.
We very much enjoyed the tour and would recommend it. We liked the energy of the guide and learned a lot about the historical side of Dushanbe. The tour wasn't too long, which was good given the heat.
