What more to say but to kickstart your tour in Munich, this is the one! And if you are interested in architecture and history, this is one of the best!
The tour with Philip was very nice and upbeat. It was easy to feel at ease with him and ask him questions as he was very friendly and not distant at all. On top of the tour of the old town which was great, the fact that you can spray paint and take with you your "art" as a souvenir is a big plus. It is a very nice twist in the tour 😊 and the place where you actually paint is very cool and probably somewhere we wouldn't have been or even heard about without him so thank you Philipp!
Philipp’s street art tour was the highlight of my entire trip!! I’ve taken many walking tours over the years and this tour stands out as the best I’ve ever been on. The first part of the tour covers various aspects of Munich’s history and Phillip shares this history in such a way it’s impossible to forget (he had a great tale for helping folks remember the city was founded in 1158). The second part takes you to Munich’s Schlachthofviertel (old meatpacking district) where Munich’s legal graffiti wall stands and street art is abundant. Here we spray painted post cards depicting various spots from part 1 of the tour. Phillip offered tips and techniques for spray painting and the experience was so immersive and fun I completely lost track of time. Philipp himself was lovely and was happy to answer questions/provide suggestions for other things to do in the city. I truly cannot recommend this tour enough!!
The weather was bad and our tour guide text me that the tour would be cancelled. It was fine with us.
