I had an amazing walking tour of Stone Town with our guide, Abdalla. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the history of the city come alive as we wandered through the winding alleys. Abdalla explained the fascinating mix of cultures—Arab, Indian, and African—that shape Stone Town and shared so many stories about the spice trade, the Sultan’s palace, and the city’s important role in history. We explored lively markets, admired the beautiful carved doors, and even discovered hidden corners I would have never found on my own. What I loved most was Abdalla’s warm personality—he made the tour fun, engaging, and answered all our questions with so much patience and enthusiasm.
