Sovia was amazing! She is very knowledgeable about the city's history and the best spots to eat local food. I really enjoyed my tour with Sovia it felt like I was exploring the city with a friend. Honestly, I was skeptical about trying certain foods but Sovia was encouraging without being pushy. I ended up trying all her recommendations and I absolutely loved everything. I even went back the next day on my own for seconds. I highly recommend this tour.
It was our first trip to Indonesia and one of our stops was the ancient city and Yogyakarta, the spiritual and cultural capital of Java. On Day 1 of our stay we took an evening tour of the city center and our guide was Aynun. Over a few hours we walked along the famous Malioboro Street, the heart of the city. Thanks to Aynun's personality and knowledge we learnt a lot about the Sultanate and the City and the rich local culture, art and traditions. The Sultan's Palace is closed in the evenings but Aynun fed us with background and tips for our next day visit. All strongly recommended. Iva and Alex
