We booked another walking tour (Sapa Town Free Walking Tour - Cultural Highlights) for 9am, but the last moment we were told we were going to the Sapa Countryside Walking Tour - Hidden Valleys & H’mong Culture. As we were considering joining it as well but as a second option, we agreed to join this tour instead. We recommend to keep this tour as an additional and not the main walking tour in this location. Our guide May was very nice and friendly, sharing a lot of real life stories, which was insightful. Although the beginning of the tour was interesting, the second half of the walk was excessive (repetitive landscapes, no rice fields to see as now is not the season, not easy to find the taxi back to the city, Grab rejected our order). Consider these details when booking the tour.
Great tour, loved every minute. Saw some sites that I would have never have found by myself and learnt things that I would never have known. I highly recommend this tour!!
