PROS - This tour gives a good overview of the history and trivia about Hanoi. The guide was enthusiastic and had a lot of info to share. CONS - We were a bigger group of around 20 people which made it hard to hear sometimes. Would recommend improving the story telling to avoid info overload. Overall, good tour as an intro to Hanoi!
We had a private walking tour with Hung (Hans), just the two of us, and it was an amazing experience. Hans took his time to show us the most interesting spots in Hanoi, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. The highlights included his insightful explanations about the pagodas and temples, as well as the fascinating visit to the Train Street. We also had the chance to enjoy a delicious Banh Mi together, which made the experience even more special. Hans was friendly and made sure we had a great time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Hanoi!
The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the history and people of Hoi An, enabling him to answer all our questions. At the end of the tour, he provided us with a PDF listing the best places to eat, drink, and visit tailor shops in Hoi An. However, while we tried some places from the list, we found some to be quite touristy. We would have preferred more hidden gems frequented by locals.
I’ve done quite a few walking tours in different cities and this was by far my favourite one yet (and this was thanks to the guide)! Lily was amazing. She was funny and knowledgeable and kept us entertained and interested the whole time. I was sad to say goodbye to her at the end! The places she took us were great and she managed to keep track of us all through the busy streets. Thank you!
