We really enjoyed the tour with Lisa. She contacted us ahead of time to confirm the meeting time and location, and went ahead with the tour even though it was just the two of us. Lisa speaks great English and imparted lots of history about Chongqing, as well as good tips on where to watch the drone show etc. I have already recommended her to friends visiting soon.
This was the best Guru Walk I’ve taken so far—and I’ve done quite a few. We were lucky enough to be the only participants, which made the experience even more personal. Besides visiting several interesting spots around Chongqing, we learned so much about the city, its people, culture, and everyday life in China. I would definitely recommend this tour. Lisa was an amazing guide. She customized the tour based the type of traveler I was. Lisa also has amazing knowledge of Chongqing, taking me through all the highs and lows of the city all while minimizing walking uphill. I loved that she took me to some less touristy and crowded locations and made me feel like a local for part of my day. At the end of the night I felt like I was eating hotpot with a friend.
