Soy un guía turístico de Humphrey con sede en Mombasa, realizo free tours, Fortjesus, Oldtown Town y mercado de especias, templo hindú de colmillo de elefante, free tour de Mombasa, Historia sobre Fort Jesus fue construido por portugueses en 1593 y se hizo cargo de Oman Arab en 1698 y luego, los británicos se apoderaron de 1898. Oldtown Town Mombasa es una cultura mixta cuando camina, verá el antiguo balcón de madera y las calles estrechas en Oldtown, también disfrutará viendo Omán tallando puertas y haciendo que su recorrido sea cómodo.

So please note my review was based on my interaction with Humphrey. But I did not take his tour. Let me explain. I have participated in guru walks in multiple countries and what I love is the guides are local people, not some big foreign company. I choose to support local people. But I am respectful to remember that these guides are individuals who are doing this to make a living. So when I messed up and overslept, I felt the right thing to do was to: 1. Contact the guide and apologize for the inconvenience 2. Provide small compensation for their wasted time (especially if I happened to be the only tourist signed up. 3. Try to reschedule for another day if possible It costs nothing to be considerate!
I only joined for 2h and 15min, so can only rate that. The guide was really knowledgeable and could tell you a lot, cared about the customer. However, I feel we spent a bit too much time at the Fort (more then 1h) and only little time in the old town. We took then a TukTuk to the market, where I needed to leave. We spend quite some time in shops, surely also driven by other tourists but I guess in this 3h we would have not covered at all what is on the itinerary plus way to little time in the old town. For me this was the main aim of taking this tour, as everyone tells you to not go alone. So maybe the Tour should state 4h maybe in this time is possible to cover. Please mind the Fort Entrance needs to be paid still, so bring enough money.
Solide und gute Tour. Da wir etwas zu spät kamen (dies konnten wir unserem guide vorher mitteilen), kann ich nicht sagen ob das Fort Jesus und die Besichtigung Teil der Tour waren. Wir wollten das Fort nicht von innen besichtigen und hatten somit 45 Minuten Wartezeit. Die Tour selbst und die Spots sind gut zu laufen und man bekommt einen guten Überblick
