We were a group of 3 people and we chose Ricky because of the excellent reviews of him on Guruwalk. He took us on a 3-hour tour which was light, insightful and very informative. Ricky is very knowledgeable and is clearly at this point personally involved with everything the exhibition has to offer. He will tell stories that span from China’s history to specific events concerning the site, and he will also point best statues, beautiful angles and minute details of some soldiers. There is just so much we would have missed were it not by the tour! I usually book guides because I am very much interested in the information of what I am seeing, interested in the narratives behind it all, and I am so thankful to Ricky for having left the site not only with beautiful pictures, but also with the sensation I know China a little better because of him.
He is the best tour guide!👍 We had so much fun and it was very informative. We learned a lot about Terracotta warriors and horses. He is the best storyteller and a nice guy. 😎 I recommend him 1000%.
Ricky is a passionate and knowledgeable guide. 100% recomended !
Ricky was a great guide to have for the Terracotta Warriors! His English is excellent and he was very friendly and helpful. He was patient with our taking pictures and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend!
This was my fourth visit to the Terracotta Warriors — the last one was in 2013. We happend to meet Ricky at our hotel. He shared fascinating stories about the Warring States period behind the Terracotta Army and even performed a magic trick about the First Emperor — it was truly impressive! So,we invited him to be our guide for this visit. We were amazed by the details we had never heard before. He explained complex things in a simple and interesting way, even connecting them with what’s happening in China today. That’s really rare and valuable. He’s friendly, humorous, and very knowledgeable. We honestly didn’t realize tour guides in China could be this outstanding.
