Really interesting part of Nairobi with a lot of history explained by a native of Kibera. Musa made an incredible tour and allowed us to meet his family in his home, very grateful!
It was a unique Experience to get to know another part of Nairobi - Kibera. Musa showed me a lot of places in Kibera and also gave me some private insights into how people live there and what challenges they have to face.
We did a tour through Kibera with Musa. It was just the two of us and we did it because we had an extra day but it turned out to be very interesting and another side to Nairobi we would not have seen otherwise. Musa was very knowledgeable about the community, having grown up there and included good stops that allowed you to see a good selection of locations in the slum. He also included a stop at his family home which was very nice to chat with his family and gain insight into life in the area. For those wondering about safety, at no point did we feel unsafe or harassed. Everyone either said hi to us or didn't pay us any attention. We had no concerns for safety. I would recommend this tour and Musa to anyone visiting the area. It was a worthwhile tour to have done and probably one of our highlights in Nairobi.
