This was a very informative tour and Joana was great at keeping the children entertained. We really enjoyed it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to know about the history of Durres.
From the moment we met Joanna, we knew we were in great hands. She’s one of those rare guides who’s not just professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely passionate about what she does and it shows in every word and smile. Her English is excellent, and the way she told stories from ancient ruins to modern life in Durrës kept us engaged the whole time. She showed us so many sides of the city that we never would’ve discovered on our own. You could feel how much she loves her hometown. Beyond the tour, Joanna was very helpful in recommending places to eat, visit, and explore across Albania. It really felt like we had a friend looking out for us. If you’re visiting Durrës, don’t miss the chance to spend time with Joanna. She’s truly one of a kind.
