If you are a solo traveler booking onto a 'free tour' it helps greatly to have some flexibility, in order to maximise your opportunity of being able to team up with others so the tour can operate and I do state this clearly on the tour description. I contacted the traveler several days before the tour to advise that he/she was the only person booked in order to provide them with the maximum opportunity to rearrange their schedule and/or search for alternatives if that's what they wanted to do. .I also offered some guaranteed alternatives very close to the original booking time which wasn't acceptable to the traveller including offering to inform them immediately if I got other bookings. I tried my best to make it happen but unfortunately with this tour format there will be the odd occasion when it's not possible for a solo traveler. I have operated many times with just two guests which is, comparatively speaking, setting the bar very low for this style of tour and I am happy to continue with that policy.
