Hola, me llamo Diego y nací en la bella ciudad de Santiago de Guatemala (Antigua Guatemala). Trabajo como guía freelance desde hace ya doce años. Soy guía acreditado por el Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo INGUAT y mi área de trabajo es toda la República de Guatemala.
Actualmente vivo en Ciudad Vieja (la primera capital que alguna vez tuvo Guatemala) y está a tan solo 6 kilómetros de Antigua Guatemala por lo cual hago tours allá todo el tiempo.
Se un poquito de todo, vulcanología, arte sacro, historia general de Guatemala, arquitectura, biodiversidad, espeleologia, etc.
Me apasiona lo que hago y será un gusto guiarlos por está ciudad museo declarada Patrimonio Cultural de La Humanidad por UNESCO,
Nuestra labor como guías nos permite enseñar a los viajeros sobre las tradiciones, cultura, leyendas, gastronomía, etc para lo cual debemos estar capacitandonos constantemente y pagar renovaciones de credencial por lo que tu aportación al final del tours es siempre bien recibida y agradecida 😉

We did a walking tour of Antigua with Diego and cannot recommend him enough. He is a brilliant guide and also a lovely person - his English is excellent and he also helped us with our Spanish pronunciation! Diego listened to our interests and tailored the tour to show us what he thought we would like. He was very knowledgable about the city and the cultural history - we learnt so much and saw things we wouldn’t have done if we hadn’t done his tour. We felt like we had experienced the authentic Antigua. 10/10 experience - thank you!

Luis kennt sich sehr gut mit der Geschichte aus und kann sie sehr gut vermitteln, ich habe mich nicht gelangweilt & sehr viel gelernt. Die perfekte Tour für den ersten Tag in Antigua!
