Hello, my name is Diego and I was born in the beautiful city of Santiago de Guatemala (Antigua Guatemala). I have been working as a freelance guide for twelve years now. I am a guide accredited by the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism INGUAT and my work area is the entire Republic of Guatemala. I currently live in Ciudad Vieja (the first capital Guatemala ever had) and it is only 6 kilometers from Antigua Guatemala so I do tours there all the time. I know a little about everything, volcanology, sacred art, general history of Guatemala, architecture, biodiversity, speleology, etc. I am passionate about what I do and it will be a pleasure to guide you through this museum city declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Our work as guides allows us to teach travelers about traditions, culture, legends, gastronomy, etc. for which we must be training constantly and pay for credential renewals, so your contribution at the end of the tours is always well received and appreciated 😉
Due to the fact that no one else chose this tour, my tour end up being a private with Luis Diego which was perfect for me .Luis Diego is very friendly and very smart .. he knows his stuff he knows his history ,dates ,names etc.. He is very knowledgeable ! choosing him as a tour guide you cannot go wrong. He went above and beyond with his knowledge and answering any question I had . You can tell this is his passion .. he made this tour a wonderful experience for me .. Plus He is bilingual in both English and Spanish ..

La aplicación es engañosa. Dice que el tour es gratis, pero resulta que te obligan a pagar 20 Euros. Y encima yo llegué y antes de empezar, pregunté de buena forma por la paga, el gurú me respondió pésimo y se fué. Un mal educado. Un desastre la aplicación.
The tour was really nice and we went to many different places. Antigua is definitely amazing and it's nice to learn about it's history with a local person.
