The tour was absolutely amazing I can honestly recommend it to everyone. Jarrr really made it something special. I learned so much about Jakarta, from the buildings and history to the street food it was the perfect mix. You can really tell how much knowledge and passion he brings. Jarrr also always paid attention to the needs of the group, which made everyone feel comfortable and included. So if anyone is thinking about doing this tour, do it you won’t regret it!
The tour with Jarrr is an opportunity to discover the city through the lens of someone borned and raised there. You will get to know places out of the touristic routes and to discover pieces of Indonesian history and context. Jarrr is brilliant and ready to answer any question you might have on the city and the country. Totally recommended!
Absolutely the coolest walking tour if you ever vsiit Jakarta, even just for a day!! Our tour guide, Jar was lively, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the city! His sense of humour really kept our interest for the whole trip :-D And I think the selection of places we went to during this walking tour were authentic looks at the city, in terms of culture, history AND great food!! Emphasis on the good food hahahaa Hoping to bring more friends for this tour someday! Just a reminder though, it's quite a lot of walking! ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ)
Jarrr is a great tour guide and very open to answer all your questions and very frank about what is going on in Jakarta. Get ready for an adventure tour and the more energy you put in the more you will get out, we went on longer than the time because Jarr was very excited to share more so get ready for more than you bargained for!
