We were a group of three and although there weren’t many other bookings and two people didn’t show up, he did the tour with us anyway! So we had our own little private tour of the castle district in Buda. It was so nice and interesting to hear about all the historic facts and get a new perspective on our surroundings. I highly recommend it!
Matthew is perhaps the best tour guide we’ve had over many years of travel. He had great historical information and he shared interesting and inspiring stories about Hungary. He was kind and personable answering received a wonderful overview of Budapest. What a great way to get to know the city. Thank you for the experience. I would highly recommend Matthew!
I really enjoyd this tour with Matthew. You can tell he doesn’t just “push play” as it sadly happens with many people who have chosen this profession. Matthew really knows how to mediate the history and culture and personalize his angle according to the backround of the group, if the size enables (as there were only 2 of us we really got a close and personal experience). So yes, highlly recommended.
Matthew is an amazing guide. His knowledge and experience are fantastic. His tour was very informative and we were disappointed when it ended. If you get the chance to do this tour, we highly recommend it recommend it - pay attention though, there may be a short quiz from this former history teacher!! 😂👍🏻
