Fátima

It was lovely to have a tour of Santa Ana from someone actually from the city. My favorite part was being able to find out about the day to day life of those that live here. Fatima took her time to answer all the questions we had, and that was appreciated. The tour was varied - we learned history, religion, but also about the best places in the city to eat and drink, AND drank some delicious coffee. Wishing Fatima all the luck as she works to create that girl boss life in a country whose culture will try to keep her down.

Fatima spoke good English and had a very good knowledge of her city/country. Fatima’s understanding of the problems that have affected her country and her transparency talking openly about political issues. We hit a great tour of Santa Ana which doesn’t have a huge amount of obvious sights away from the main cathedral and theatre but the important thing is the stories that Fatima told about the places we visited. Really enjoyable and came away with a better understanding of recent history in El Salvador and Santa Ana. Fatima also made time to give tips on where to visit and how to get there whilst visiting as well as some great film/documentary recommendations of what we could watch to learn more after the tour.

I would highly recommend Fatima as a guide - she speaks excellent English and has a lot of in depth knowledge about Santa Ana - she spoke candidly about life in Santa Ana when she was growing up which was humbling to hear - even if you have done another tour here I would recommend taking her tour as her information and perspective are different - it is also a good thing to spread your custom widely - good luck with your business Fatima 👍
