We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Fatima. We learned a lot about living here as a local in the past, present, and hopes for the future. We saw many sights and especially enjoyed touring the market area and sampling various types of fruit, foods, and chicha. Fatima’s walking tour was amazing. The best we have ever done in 10 months of travelling. She showed us all the best spots including local food recommendations and shops. We ended up on the tour for 5 hours as Fatima was so interesting to talk to and so willing to show us her city. Thank you so much Fatima, you are one in a million!
This has been - in all honesty - one of the best walking tours I’ve done. It was a great way to start my time in Santa Ana(and in El Salvador in general), since we got a lot of historical context, tried different street foods (which were amazing), met different local people on the way and it all felt very familiar and local. Besides, Fatima is a gem - she generously shared a lot of her personal experience and views on everything, with the right amount of care and humor. I didn’t notice time pass by, and felt it was such a beautiful experience that made me love the city. Can’t recommend this tour enough.
