Soy un apasionado de Delhi (local de Delhi), con un título universitario en Historia de la India. Delhi, al ser una ciudad asombrosa, tiene el poder mágico de cautivar a quienes pasan por su ámbito. Wir haben kurzfristig eine Tour mit Jatin gebucht und waren auch nur zu zweit. Die Tour durch Old Delhi war toll, wir haben viel erfahren, einige Köstlichkeiten probiert. Jatin hat uns noch zurück zur Metrostation gebracht. Es war ein gelungener Nachmittag Wir können Jatin zu 100% empfehlen.j
Jatin is a good tour guide and this was an enjoyable two and a half hours for me revisiting ShahJahan’s capital which I haven’t explored for 30 years. It was a good walk at a reasonable pace through fascinating areas. I think it would be a 5 star tour for someone who had never been to Old Delhi before but for me there wasn’t much that was new except for the explanations. And that is the point of tours I believe since when you simply look you don’t necessarily understand what you are seeing. My only real concern was that I don’t think the guide could understand my Yorkshire accent which prevented some deeper conversations. Highly recommend
I can highly recommend this guide! He takes his time and knows a lot about the history and background. He adapts to the interests of the group. I enjoyed it to the fullest.
Die Tour durch Old Delhi mit Jatin war für uns ein echtes Highlight. Er hat uns viele besondere und authentische Eindrücke gezeigt, die wir alleine niemals entdeckt hätten – von kleinen lokalen Geschäften über die Menschen und das Leben auf den Straßen bis hin zu engen Gassen und versteckten Winkeln abseits der typischen Touristenrouten. Zwischendurch gab es auch eine kurze Rickshaw-Fahrt, die Spaß gemacht hat und gut zur Tour gepasst hat. Unterwegs konnten wir außerdem leckeres Street Food wie frisch zubereitete Samosas, Chai und Lassi probieren, was die Tour noch abwechslungsreicher gemacht hat. Jatin ist ein sehr freundlicher und herzlicher Guide, spricht sehr gutes Englisch und verfügt über viel Wissen über Old Delhi, seine Geschichte und das tägliche Leben vor Ort. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die Old Delhi authentisch erleben möchten! Danke Jatin! 🙏🏻
The walking tour was absolutely fantastic and easily one of the highlights of my trip. Even though I ended up being the only participant, Jatin still ran the tour and put so much care and energy into making it an unforgettable experience. He showed me Old Delhi from a truly gritty, authentic perspective that I never would have discovered on my own and he was incredibly open and happy to answer all of my questions along the way. I learned so much, felt completely immersed in the city, and came away with a much deeper understanding of the place. Hands down the best possible way to start exploring a new city.
