Fun tour of street food in the center of Lima! Lots of markets and stalls, great intro to classic Peruvian street food with a bit of history. For adventurous travelers who don’t mind (or enjoy) the chaos. Bruce was friendly, passionate, and eccentric! Would recommend

Excelente tour! Lo recomiendo 100%. El tour es muy completo. Renzo sabe mucho y comparte su conocimiento de una forma muy amena. La experiencia cocinando también fue buenísima.

Excelente experiencia! De nuestras actividades favoritas en Lima. Bruce nos hizo probar platos deliciosos, muy auténticos y locales. Conocimos sitios muy auténticos que es difícil visitar si eres turista. Comí el mejor ceviche y pisco que he probado. Ir muy open-minded y el tour será inolvidable.

Renzo was an incredible guide! So thoughtful and considerate. Very informative with an abundance of knowledge!!! You could ask him absolutely any question and he'd reply with a very curated response. Even though it was only me and my partner, Renzo continued the tour and showed us all these magnificent places! 10/10

Espectacular experiencia con Amaru! Te lleva por sitios no turísticos a probar de las mejores comidas típicas de Perú. Aparte las explicaciones han estado a muy buen nivel. Recomiendo 100% este tour!!

El tour gastronómico de Hulk fue excelente, muchísimo mejor de lo que esperábamos. Pudimos conocer lugares que no hubiésemos ido por nuestra cuenta y son verdaderas joyas de la cultura peruana. Hulk se encarga de absolutamente todo: el grupo, la comida, las explicaciones, historia y más. Toda la comida que probamos fue exquisita, no solo recomiendo muchísimo el tour sino que diría que es una parada obligatoria para cualquiera que visite Lima.

It was amazing! We tried all different foods and while it‘s not a tour of the city like a historic city tour - we saw places no tourist would go and got information on culture and the life in Lima as well as delicous (and some strange 😅) food from amazing places 😊

Excelente tour! Lo hice el último día de mi estadía por Lima. Recomiendo hacerlo el primero. A parte de la comida, comenta sobre la historia de la ciudad y su gente, y permite conocer lugar que por tu cuenta no irías.

Renzo fue un súper guía, estuvo muy atento a explicarme todo sobre la gastronomía, frutas y comidas callejeras de Lima. Pude probar muchas cosas y preparar mi propia causa limeña y ceviche, lo cual estuvo genial. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Bruce is a very complete tour guide. I'm a very critical person normally, but I have nothing bad to say about him or about his tour, his route and his recommendations. I found it quite interesting to start outside the Afro Peruvian Museum, past by China Town, and talk about peruvians, and of course to talk about food, taste it sharing everything between everybody, and learn about the culture and history with a gastronomical perspective. Besides, I was asking a lot of questions about politics since I'm very interested into that, and Bruce gave us quick answers since he needed to continue with the structure of his tour which is all right. He told us that if we want to know deeper, then he talks about politics in a "Underground Pub Crawl", so some people in hour group decided to just give it a chance, and as well as this particular food tour, they both were amazing experiences!

The gastronomical tour with Renzo was full of discoveries - from delicious and unknown for us before fruits at the farmers market to the causa and ceviche which we helped to prepare. We went through central market and China town where we tried some more fruits and where Renzo showed us various types of street food. We ended up tasting traditional pisco sauer which was also quite delicious. Renzo also taught us to use public transportation and recommend other places to visit. We are very happy with the tour and recommend it to everyone visiting Lima.

This is the best tour I have ever done - you have to do it!!! This is the way to really know Peruvian culture. Bruce took us to the best places, explained so much of the culture through food and gave us the full experience, even buying some fruits at the stall and cutting them for us to try. I would repeat it anytime. If you are a foodie, this is the one tour you have to do. Best best best, gracias Bruce!!!
