Tim was a great tour guide! He came well prepared with loads of information and entertaining quotes about the history of the city. You can really tell he likes to show people around and really do a deep dive into what SE Portland has to offer. As someone considering potentially moving here, I appreciated his willingness to answer all my questions about the day to day life.

Tim was a super knowledgeable (and funny) tour guide! He clearly has so much love for Portland, and getting to see this city through his eyes was inspiring and informative. He had a lot of historical facts about the neighborhood, and mixed it with some really charming anecdotes from his life and experiences in Portland. It gave me a renewed appreciation for Southeast and for Portland as a whole. Thanks, Tim! Cute dog, too!

This was the best walking tour I've ever done. What really came through, beyond Tim's impressive historic knowledge of the area and interesting/unexpected facts along the way, was the special touch of learning from a true local that is passionate and curious about his own neighborhood and city. Tim's "vibe" is a beautiful blend of educational and hilarious. We even grabbed pizza with Tim afterwards at one of Portland's best pizza joints! Highly recommend taking a tour with Tim - it is definitely worth it and I promise it will will be the cherry on top of your day, whether you're a curious local or visitor.

Tim was a delightful tour guide. Came prepared with a binder to show us old pictures of the streets and buildings, had a wealth of knowledge and a clear passion for his city. He took it in stride when I jumped in at all times to add my own comments (thanks, Tim!) and did not shy away from the important topics of Indigenous erasure, historic redlining, and gentrification of the city/its effect on people experiencing houselessness. I learned things I didn't know before and came away with an even greater appreciation for this place I call home.

I’ve lived in SE Portland for 10 years without really knowing anything about the region. This tour was a perfect mix of history, beautiful neighborhoods, and storytelling. I had a great time and feel more connected to the place I call home.

This was an incredible tour!! Tim did an amazing job teaching us about the history of the neighborhood. I learned so much and couldn’t believe how thoroughly researched the tour was. We saw some beautiful spots and Tim provided an excellent blend of humor and history. Whether you’re new to SE Portland or have lived here for some time there’s something in this tour for you. Strongly recommend
