Hola a todos desde todas partes del mundo y bienvenidos a Jordania, su segundo hogar. Este recorrido será muy diferente y mucho más interesante y divertido que los otros recorridos típicos porque presentaré nuestra cultura de una manera auténtica para ayudarte a experimentar la vida del pueblo jordano como si fueras un nativo jordano. Mi objetivo principal en este tour es ayudarte a pasar el mejor momento en mi país, brindarte los consejos e información más importantes para que tu estadía sea mucho más fácil, divertida y menos costosa. Comenzaremos caminando por la colorida Rainbow Street, una de las calles urbanas más antiguas de la capital. Exploraremos las tiendas de Rainbow Street en nuestro camino hacia el centro de la ciudad, que es el lugar más antiguo, vintage y tradicional de Ammán. El centro es un gran mercado con todo tipo de tiendas, restaurantes, bazares, mercados de especias, mercados de telas, mercados de juguetes, mercados de verduras y comestibles donde probaremos una gran variedad de comida jordana, dulces y golosinas. El centro de la ciudad es un mercado vibrante y lleno de vida porque es uno de los lugares más concurridos de toda la ciudad. Continuaremos nuestro camino para visitar el anfiteatro romano, uno de los estadios arqueológicos más importantes de la época romana, donde los romanos solían celebrar sus ceremonias y festivales. Continuaremos nuestro paseo visitando mi galería de arte favorita, es una tienda de arte y artesanías local que muestra pinturas y artesanías hechas a mano por más de 35 personas locales y disfrutaremos de la vista panorámica desde su balcón. Prepárese para explorar una cultura única y rica mientras contempla paisajes asombrosos.

We booked Majd’s tour on our first day in Amman, and it was absolutely fantastic! Communication beforehand via WhatsApp was seamless, and adjusting the time last-minute due to Ramadan was no problem at all.
The tour was led by Majd and his cousin Carlos. Carlos picked us up, brought us to their home, and served tea on their rooftop with a stunning view over Amman. Then Majd joined, and together they guided us through the streets of Amman, sharing fascinating stories, personal anecdotes, and authentic insights into local life.
We tried an incredible amount of local food – far more than expected – and even received small gifts.
What really stood out: although the tour is tip-based, we were treated to drinks, lots of food, perfume, taxi rides, and more. Their hospitality is truly unmatched!
It’s clear that Majd and Carlos are well-connected and know everyone in the neighborhood. Another highlight was a surprise taxi ride up a hill to visit a mosque – unforgettable!
The tour was originally planned for 2.5 hours, but we ended up spending 4.5 hours – and every minute was worth it.
If you want to explore the markets with locals, ask anything, and get a real sense of life in Amman, this tour is a must.
