Hello everyone from all around the world and welcome to Jordan, your second home. This tour will be very different and much more interesting and fun than the other typical tours because I will present our culture in an authentic way to help you experience the life of the Jordanian people as if you were a native Jordanian. My main goal on this tour is to help you have the best time in my country, providing you with the most important tips and information to make your stay much easier, more enjoyable, and less costly. We will start by walking down the colorful Rainbow Street, one of the oldest urban streets in the capital. We will explore the shops on Rainbow Street on our way to the city center, which is the oldest, most vintage, and traditional place in Amman. The city center is a large market with all kinds of shops, restaurants, bazaars, spice markets, fabric markets, toy markets, vegetable and grocery markets where we will try a wide variety of Jordanian food, sweets, and treats. The city center is a vibrant and lively market because it is one of the busiest places in the entire city. We will continue our way to visit the Roman amphitheater, one of the most important archaeological stadiums from the Roman era, where the Romans used to hold their ceremonies and festivals. We will continue our walk by visiting my favorite art gallery, a local art and craft shop showcasing paintings and handmade crafts by more than 35 local people, and we will enjoy the panoramic view from its balcony. Get ready to explore a unique and rich culture while taking in amazing landscapes.

Downtowndowntown of amman is the oldest most ancient place in the whole city where we will see the Grand Hussaini Mosque and visit the food markets ,sweets markets ,and gold markets we’ll be sightseeing all the astonishing sites as well.

The Roman TheatreThe Roman Theatre is built in the second century it’s one of the most important buildings in the roman empire where they used to have there festivals ,shows and battles ,entering the theatre may not be guaranteed but ill do my best to get you the best view of the theatre if we couldn’t get in.

Nymphaeum ArchaeologicalThe Nymphaeum, or main public fountain of old Philadelphia, as Amman was named in Hellenistic and Roman times, dates back to the end of the 2nd century AD. It is only a short stroll away from the Roman Theater and Odeon. Nymphaea were built over caves with running water, which were believed to be sacred to mythological nymphs. They were areas of public gathering and seen as a sign of a city’s wealth.

We booked Majd’s tour on our first day in Amman, and it was absolutely fantastic! Communication beforehand via WhatsApp was seamless, and adjusting the time last-minute due to Ramadan was no problem at all.
The tour was led by Majd and his cousin Carlos. Carlos picked us up, brought us to their home, and served tea on their rooftop with a stunning view over Amman. Then Majd joined, and together they guided us through the streets of Amman, sharing fascinating stories, personal anecdotes, and authentic insights into local life.
We tried an incredible amount of local food – far more than expected – and even received small gifts.
What really stood out: although the tour is tip-based, we were treated to drinks, lots of food, perfume, taxi rides, and more. Their hospitality is truly unmatched!
It’s clear that Majd and Carlos are well-connected and know everyone in the neighborhood. Another highlight was a surprise taxi ride up a hill to visit a mosque – unforgettable!
The tour was originally planned for 2.5 hours, but we ended up spending 4.5 hours – and every minute was worth it.
