Free Walking Tours through Old Evora

An absolute “must do”. Elza’s knowledge of Evora and its history was incredible. The route she took through the old town was well thought out and she encouraged us to see more after the tour - which we did. A really great experience. Thanks, Elza!

Elza did a fantastic job sharing her vast knowledge of the local history and sites. She was easy to understand and despite the challenges of background noises she was easy to hear. She showed us sites we would never have seen and had previously walked by without seeing. She explain the significance of previously overlooked structures and historical sites. It was our first walking tour and we had a great experience!

Interesting tour around Evora showing us places of interest and telling us lots about the history of the city. The weather was awful but I still had a great time and would recommend this walking tour to anyone who wants to find out more about Evora.

Elza is a first rate guide - extremely knowledgeable, passionate about her city and patient with the tourists. Evora is the perfect city for a Guru tour - not too big but with plenty of interesting spots to visit.

Excellent overview of the City, its history and architecture. Excellent suggestions for places to spend more time at. Elza conducted the tour in a casual manner, but always ensured everyone was able to hear and was more than willing to answer questions. She never seemed to try to rush through the tour. Very enjoyable.

Elza is wonderful! The tour was 2.5h long, but I could have easily listened to her twice as long.
