Elza was very knowledgeable on history, architecture and the sites around Évora. Any question we asked her she was able to answer, it was a wonderful tour!

Elza is very professional and made the tour very instructive!

The meeting point was labelled R. do Muro 2E5. Neither we nor the cab driver knew what 2E5 meant. "We're behind the wall close to the cross bewtween Rua do Muro and Rua Candido dos Reias." A cross is a religious symbol. We spent 10 ninutes looking for a cross. Even a few people at a nearby convent could not help us. Eventually we found our tour. I wish the organizations that run these tours would specify the FINAL DESTINATION as well as the meeting point so that we could organize ourselves better. It is not nice when you finish far away from your hotel and the starting point. Now to the good stuff. Of the three walking tours we have had so far during our Portugal holiday this was by far the best. Our guide, Elza I think, was fabulous. Our stops were relatively short and Elza was full of useful information, mostly historical and very interesting. Her personality was perfect for the job. We all thought she was exceptionally good. By the way, 12 people on the walk is so much better than 25. Anyway, the tour was terrific and if you are lucky enough to be led by Elza, you will be most fortunate.

Elza was a fabulous tour guide really bringing to life our day in Evora. She's not only a great historian but also shared a local's perspective on living in the Evora area.

This tour was so informative. Although you could see all the places on your own you would never get to fully appreciate them without the colourful and descriptive history Elza provides. If you are staying in Evora for a few days this tour is a reco ended must do on day 1. The remainder of your stay will be so much richer.

It was excellent! I recommend that there is a map to show us where we went. There is so much to see and learn!

Elza was very informative and gave us a thorough historical overview of Evora. It was very interesting and we learned much more than we would have if we just walked around ourselves.

Elza was amazing! She was one of the best tour guides in the long time we had! Very professional, very knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor! She showed all main areas of the old town and the south town, and covered all of the main aspects of the city, of all religions and all eras that the town went through. Whenever gave recommendations for places to visit after the tour and restaurants in town.
