Great tour if you want to learn about the history of San Sebastián and some of its lesser known people!

Ibon was a fantastic tour guide, entertaining, informative but more than anything passionate about San Sebastian, its history and culture and that of the Basque region in general. It felt by the end that we were talking with a friend who really wanted us to leave San Sebastian with a sense of what it means to be from this area. I would highly recommend the walking tour and more significantly Ibon. You may even get a song, if you're lucky.

Yasmin was an excellent tour guide. The historic and culture information she provided was so interesting and was entirely new to us. We saw very interesting and beautiful places; the walk up Mount Urgull provided a beautiful panoramic view. She provided good recommendations as well as museums and other places we should visit while in San Sebastian.

One of the best walking tours I’ve experienced. Laura was amazing! Very informative and very skilled at keeping the tour interesting. At the end of the tour she shared lists of restaurants, where to go for pinxtos, dessert and even souvenir stores. Her English was great. I highly recommend her if you’re lucky to get her.

Gonzalo was a good guide.However, some of his explanations, especially about less essential items went on too long and therefore tour went 15 to 30 minutes longer than anticipated.

Sarah was most engaging and inclusive. She managed a group of 25 with humour and respect, without leaving anyone behind. She had lots of anecdotes and stories from a personal perspective to illustrate the history of San Sebastián. She delighted us with the places she selected for the tour. She was clearly liked by the locals and cautioned us to be respectful of the locals, particularly in the heart of old town. She delighted us, entertained us and even sang to us. It was an exceptional tour and I highly recommend it.
