Essential Free walking tours of Donostia-San Sebastian

Sarai was brilliant and we enjoyed the tour. Two and a half hours was too long for our group of four so would suggest reducing the length by at least 30 minutes.

Ibon’s guiding through the town was huge fun, very enlightening and informative. At over three hours it was slightly too long for us, but overall we’re very glad we did it!

Ibon was absolutely amazing, they were engaging, passionate, funny and energetic. They went the extra mile and made the tour longer than expected.

Alberto was excellent- very informative and had a good manner with all the group. Despite the poor weather it was enjoyable and lovely to see San Sebastián in all its glory.

We had a lovely tour with Igor this morning around Donosti! He was very informative, playful and the tour was very educational. We talked of regional history, language and identity as well as local culture. I highly recommend!

2.5 hours with Igor flew by. His informative content mixed with humour, enthusiasm and creativity made it most enjoyable. We are busy now, post tour, researching and following up on all the history we learned.

Always do a walking tour to find a way around cities. Guides are always very interesting and give plenty of information. Thanks to Alberto and the Guru team for today's walk and recommendations

This tour was really fun. Our guide Ibon was very entertaining and personable and provided not only general information about San Sebastián but also personal anecdotes, and some insights into the Basque language when we expressed interest in finding out more about it. This was really appreciated. If you prefer a more quiet or low-key experience, this might not be the tour for you, but if you are looking for a fun and lively way to learn more about San Sebastián, this would be a great tour to choose!

Sarai has excellent knowledge of the San Sebastian area, she delivered this knowledge with humour, easy understanding and group participation. Definitely would recommend this guide, anyone joining her group will get a great experience.

Our tour guide Sarai was a very knowledgeable, funny and enthusiastic young lady ! She lead us through the streets and squares of San Sebastián giving us some history and information about the city. We were all given audio ear pieces (left ear by the way ! ) which really helped hear what she was saying especially if you got left behind. The tour took approximately 2.5 hours and covered mainly the old town. My only slight suggestion is to trim the talking and increase the walking ! Otherwise, a worthwhile tour to do especially as it’s free. (We did tip her at €10 pp and she even took card !)

Great tour to learn the history of San Sebastián, understand how it became the place it is today and see the old town / La Conch beach area

Sarai was an awesome guide! Very knowledgeable (she is a history major and been a tour guide for two years), funny and entertaining! She even sang Basque songs for us with her beautiful voice! She made what could have been a dreary rainy day a delight!!

Very entertaining. Guide Sarah was informative, fun and had a great sense of humour. Take raincoat and umbrella if weather looks like rain….got very wet.
