German gave a very informative tour of Punta del Este on Sunday January 12, 2025. He presents an excellent historical perspective on the growth of Punta del Este, only downside is that Guru walks needs to provide him with a microphone and walkers with earbuds so we can better hear as he walks in front of us. We arrived on a cruise ship that tendered and the map we were provided with for walking to meeting site was no where accurate… need to tell clients if arriving via cruise ships the distance to meeting site. We walked over 2 miles before finally taking a cab to reach meeting point which was another mile away.
