German was an excellent tour leader. We hhad already walked all around Punta del Este (Uruguay) and seen most ot the sights that were listed on the tour - so we thought we might not get a lot more out of a tour - but German had so many excellent stories and talked about so many aspects of life in Uruguay and the history not only of Punta del Este, but of the whole country and even the whole region of South America. I VERY HIGHLY recommend German as a tour leader in Punta del Este!

German was an excellent guide. He had a wide knowledge of the history, geography and culture of the area. We walked at a good pace to all of the landmarks and areas. He was helpful with restaurant and cafe suggestions. Can highly recommend German as a guide.

German was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to understand. I emensely enjoyed the tour and learned quite a bit about the city of Punta del Este & Uruguan history in general from German. He could have easily cancelled or rescheduled this tour as I was the only person, who signed up for it today. Instead, he run the tour just for me, making it feel like a private tour without any additional cost to me. His dedication to his role as a tour guide is very impressive and commendable. I would highly recommend him to anyone who want to know more about Punta del Este and Uruguay in general.

I have been to dozens of walking tours in many countries and was quite surprised by such quality in this one. Guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. It is quite a walk but I'd really recommend doing it if you can!

Germain was a very good guide. As we were the only ones he adjusted the meeting time to our arrival time. Thank you for that. The tour is a good mixture of historical facts about the city and the country and the present situation. Especially the second part of the tour through the historical part was amazing as it was an astonishing difference from the buzzling tourist area with wonderful houses and gardens.

German gave a very informative tour of Punta del Este on Sunday January 12, 2025. He presents an excellent historical perspective on the growth of Punta del Este, only downside is that Guru walks needs to provide him with a microphone and walkers with earbuds so we can better hear as he walks in front of us. We arrived on a cruise ship that tendered and the map we were provided with for walking to meeting site was no where accurate… need to tell clients if arriving via cruise ships the distance to meeting site. We walked over 2 miles before finally taking a cab to reach meeting point which was another mile away.

Germán was a fantastic guide. Friendly and informative with a folder of photos to add to his explanations. Definitely recommend!

One of the best walking tours I ever had. German makes sure to explain everything even though it is just you in the tour and no one else. Gave very good recommendations of food and specially the gelato place. Best host and information.

Germán is a really good guide. He provides a lot of information about Uruguay and Punta del Este. The visit is mixed with historical facts, things to do, places to go visit and go eat, etc. He is really friendly and answered all of our questions. I would recommend to anyone passing by Punta del Este to do that tour ! We learned a lot and it's all fun times :)

German was great, he took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, we had a very interesting tour with him and it's a must in Punta Del Este.

I am very appreciative of his effort as more than half the people who had signed up canceled at the last minute because of the heavy rain, all of which had him consider canceling at the last minute as well. Even though it rained during most of the 2.5 hour tour, the information was interesting. Given the reputation of Punta del Este as a beach resort, I was more than pleased to learn the historical background and current events that Germán presented about this peninsula and Uruguay overall. I recommend taking this tour.

Great communication before the tour, especially regarding the weather. German still arrived for the tour despite the rain and really tried to accommodate each person. We had a great time, even when getting wet! German is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
