Really enjoyed the tour with Nilufar (Lily) - it covered so many aspects! She gave a great overview of the history of the city and region without making it overwhelming with too many dates and names, and tied it into the historic buildings and how people used them. When she found out we would visit the Khorezm fortresses the following day, she included some information about what we would see using exhibits in the local museum, really adapting the tour for us. A really well thought out tour with a very knowledgeable, friendly guide whose pride in her country of Khorezm really shone through!

Nilufar is the best guide I encountered in Uzbekistan! She knows what she is talking about and explains everything clearly. But the best thing was her enthusiasm which is contagious. You can ask her anything, even personal things about life in Uzbekistan. I would definitely recommend taking this tour!
