My name is Bernadette and I am a landscape architect born in Budapest. Hiking is my hobby and when I travel I always seek active outdoor programs such as biking, camping, kayaking, etc. - but I also like getting to know new cities, different cultures and especially meeting local people, wandering around non ”touristy” places. As a landscape architect nature fascinates me - that is why I lovingly put together the “Panoramic Hiking Tour on Gellért Hill” for you with a scenic route in the greenery while you’ll learn about our capital, history, and culture.
We had a nice tour a bit away from the typical touristic stuff. Very nice view over the city and some nice stories. We had a really good time with this tour :)
We really enjoyed our afternoon with Bernadett. We learned a lot about Budapest in a unique way. Gellert hill provides some great views, and feels a whole world away from the city. Bernadett provided some great tips and information for the rest of our time in Hungary and Budapest.
Bernadette’s tour was a lovely change from the other tours we did this week. A mini escape from the bustle of the city with lovely pathways and points of interest throughout. Bernadette has a strong knowledge of her country’s history, thoughtfully answering any question we threw her way. We strongly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to walk a more peaceful area of the city while gaining some interesting information along the way. Thank you Burnadett!
